A most ironic essay at best here: You describe Islam as being "anti-semantic" amid a flurry of comments that rely on the semantical issue of the term "semite" & who is & isn't an actual semite.
Obviously "antisemite" is a modern term of convenience that equates to Jew-hatred.
If Islam is intrinsically antisemitic then what about Christianity? Witness their respective histories. Sure, the Prophet had expected Jews who disdained conversion to Christianity to join Islam & was infuriated when they did not. But building the mosque on the Temple Mount was no special insult. Otherwise what are we to make of the Hagia Sophia in Istanbul & so many other mosques built over Christian churches when conquered by Islamic armies?
Furthermore, I don't believe (& I might be completely wrong here) the site is "defiled" because while a Jewish place of worship cannot be set over a site used for idolatry, Islam is not idolatrous. Far from it. Thus, while rebuilding the Temple would be way, way provocative (which is why Dayan gave control of the site to Musilm authorities in '67) it would not be forbidden by halacha.
