An interesting conversation about consequences here, but one point leads to another: are all the consequences of #metoo's empowerment positive?
Are they supposed to be?
One hears about a loss of intimacy, of connection, between men & women in the workplace, an arena where the former are still more likely to hold supervisory roles over the latter. While not endorsing widespread application of the "Pence rule", it seems commonsensible that men be more careful.
"Just don't be an asshole," runs the counter-advice.
But who decides?
