But the Palestinians had democracy. They elected Hamas. And when you elaborate you seem to suggest some kind of one-state two-peoples approach. I just don't see that. Blacks & whites can both be South African just fine. But for Jews to risk becoming a minority in Israel?

What's the point, then?

Me, I would love to see a viable Palestinian in Gaza & the West Bank, with a Marshal-plan type economic boost; fair compensation for those who lost land in Israel. But return for Palestinians? I just don't think so.
