Does it say anything that your source for "racist slander" is Twitter [X]? Will there ever be a time when some people don't make needless, offensive comments on it or a similar platform? What's the goal here, for everyone on the planet to be onboard?

A real racial brouhaha ensued over the proposal to cast Idris Elba as James Bond. It was a great idea. Elba had the character, heft, style & following to make a first rate Bond, but he took himself out of the running when so many commentators complained about the notion of a black Bond.
