Fine article. You make a lot of important points. Like many I don't have a strong opinion about the case. I'm inclined to believe Allen for many of the reasons you state.
Last year I wrote a fairly long piece suggesting that Dylan & Ronan were being bullies by calling out industry people who had not publicly broken with Allen, such as Dianne Keaton. Further, I don't see Dylan as being legitimately part of #metoo, to which she aligned herself, because her accusations smack more of cases such as McMartin Preschool.
Interestingly, response was largely from pro-Allen advocates who took me to task for not addressing his guilt or innocence.
