Germany was overcome by the Allies after years of vicious & bloody fighting, then divided up into occupation zones. Nothing even remotely similar is imaginable for Israel. Though I must admit I like the ideas of bearing down on those settler shit-heads & Bibi behind bars....

I think the Jews in Israel, at least those in power, have long since ceased to be Zionists & now follow a Greater Israel ideology, which is what really guides actions in both Gaza & the West Bank. It's more a kind of rampant Israelism than Zionism.
