Good.

I don't think of Butch & the Kid as a historical film, per se, because the bicycle & Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head & a few other things. Cool film. Great dialogue. Redford & Newman. Sure.

Not much love for the Wild Bunch as a historical film about the closing of the old west. A better choice, in may opinion. I recall William Goldman writing about midway into production of the former they hear the Wild Bunch is going into production. Scared the bejeezus out of them. But obviously films couldn't be more different.
