Good article, making good points. I do have to agree with some others that JFK wasn't made with historical accuracy in mind, but rather a brilliantly directed & edited piece of agitprop that essentially held there was something rotten in the city of Dallas that day.
My own personal favorite is Inherit The Wind. A play, I know, but also a popular, remade film, that portrays the Scopes Trial wrong in so many ways. I think even more than some of the others it has shaped people's views of that event & period.
