Good points about the abolition of LWOP. In cases where capital punishment vs. LWOP are potential penalties, prosecutors argue that the latter is chimerical at best, because while it might be the sentence today, who knows what laws will pass tomorrow?

Execute them & be confident they’ll never again reoffend.
