Great list. Totally agree re GWTW. Lost Cause propaganda overdone for the massive screen.

Somewhat agree with the rest, save for Forrest Gump, which I think is really a charming film that oughtn't take causality too seriously. Jenny, I think is redeemed because she wasn't hiding Forrest, Jr. she was hiding herself. She felt she was tainted & that Forrest was too good, too pure & that she would just bring him down. But little Forrest changed her world. She got clean, got a job to support him, only too late. She was sick & not going to get better, so she took refuge with a good man who had the resources & love to look after little Forrest after she was gone. Gump is one of my favorite films, though I wouldn't list it as one of the 100 greatest. That's going a bit too far.
