I agree it has no right to Gaza or the West Bank or East Jerusalem. That's clear. What about the lands it took during the War of Independence, that extra 20% or so?

Wrt refugees, I also agree Israel has responsibilities that it has mostly shirked. A prosperous, stable Palestine would obviously be Israel's best investment in longterm security.

Sadly, it appeared that Jordan had resolved the problem by annexing the West Bank & making Palestinians Jordanian citizens. Jordan renounced its claim to the West Bank in '88, leaving the Palestinians stateless. Why Israel didn't just return the West Bank. A bit late now....
