I agree that some Bernie supporters can reflect MAGAniks at times, but that wasn’t clear in your essay. I can only go by what you wrote, & I didn’t see you criticize Sanders, or your correspondent harass you in turn.

I don’t know if you read my other responses, but last year I tried to convince some Trump supporters of the inappropriateness of “Rabbi” Loren Jacobs at a memorial to the Philadelphia synagogue shooting victims with Mike Pence. Messianic Judaism is a form of Christianity, plain & simple. Had any of them offered as much as “I stand corrected” I would have been delighted.
