I disagree. I think you have to define "pro-Hitler" here. Yes, many believed that Hitler had saved Germany from economic catastrophe & communist takeover, but were still far from comfortable with the NDSAP's methods & ideology. I think a majority hoped that Hitler would be replaced with a moderate leader once Germany was stabilized. Is that "pro-Hitler"?

And what does "flat-out racist" mean here?

That we can't or won't election a black president, or black legislators, governors, mayors?

I'm not trying to argue that the above demonstrates the US isn't racist. After all, look at the distribution of wealth, of leaders in business & industry, of prison populations & contact with the legal system. We have a long, long way to go. I concur. But I don't know what "flat out racist" means here.
