I do recall the photo ban, but my wife & spent about an hour inside, just studying the paintings. I don't recall where, but we found a place to sit, & really didn't move the whole time. It was crowded, yes, but no problem for us. No one told us to move along—& of course the Italians aren't shy about such things.

Truly it was magnificent. Could have spent all day there.
