I don't have a strong opinion about Hamilton, though I liked the music well enough to sit through the second act at the Rodgers theater even though my left knee was screaming in agony by the time it ended—there is simply no room to stretch one's leg, not even a millimeter in those rows. And our seats were too close to the stage & too centered to allow me to leave without being disruptive.

Jackson, ironically dueled a great deal, but killed only one opponent. Most duels were satisfied at first blood. More ironically still, most of the challenges he issued pertained to his marital status. He had rescued his wife, Rachel, from an abusive marriage. It's possible he married her before her divorce became final, thus making her, technically, a bigamist. In the only fatal duel he fought, against Charles Dickinson, the latter had characterized Rachel Jackson as a bigamist.
