I don't think anyone was arrested simply for being pro-Palestine & demanding divestment of their particular institution from Israel. In most instances they were in encampments or part of rallies that police tried to break up. Which is not to say I don't agree with them.

It shouldn't be dangerous to be pro-Palestinian. Unfortunately as circumstances continue, polarization increases & before you know it you have Jane Fonda sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft artillery battery.

I'm a Zionist who believes Israel is far, far beyond dead wrong in this conflict. I believe the IDF doctrine change because the rationale for killing those food aid workers—belief a single Hamas fighter was in their company—was so utterly sickening. This won't end well for Israel. Hamas used the people of Gaza to stage a massive, sanguineous PR campaign. And it's working.
