I feel your pain. One the first writers I followed here, Marley K., blocked me after I replied to her article complaining that products for black hair & skin treatment were always set at the far end of aisles, forcing her to walk past an endless sea of blond hair & blue eyes on labels. She took action. Got results. Placement changed.
I wrote praising her. Sincerely. But then I had to ask: If she has walked the other way along the pharmacy aisles, wouldn't she have products for black people first?
Next thing I know, I was blocked. Since I hadn't responded to anything else by her in quite that's the only thing it could have been. Guess I was triflin'.
Though it might not seem so now, the pain gradually gets better. Just put one foot in front of another & live day by day. Promise.
