No jury found him innocent. Aside from Fatty Arbuckle no criminal defendant in the history of US jurisprudence has ever been found innocent. He was found not guilty, which means the prosecution's case was not made. That puts him in the same category as OJ or Stacy Koon. The presumption of innocence applies only in the courtroom, for the rest of us it's entirely optional.
