I think Haley, unfortunately doesn't believe that the US isn't & has never been a racist country. I say "unfortunately" because I think she's speaking to her potential constituency. Among many MAGAs & Amren types "racist" is defined differently, ranging from another synonym for active bias to being racist only if one's belief in the inferiority of POC is not true. Otherwise they regard themselves as "race realists".

Haley's a whole piece of work, all right. But, scarier still, isn't she the better alternative (assuming Republicans feel the need to run any candidate at all)?
