I took a look at the Hawkeye Project. Interesting. But, I have to ask, wouldn't a better comparison be of male characters wearing costumes not just taken from female characters, but designed to appeal to women?

Recalling Braveheart, despite their historical inaccuracy, a lot of women—at least of my acquaintance—thought Mel Gibson & the other Scots looked really hot in their kilts.
