If you took the trouble to read carefully you would have noted that Gindin's piece acknowledged the looting by the people of Gaza (& also by retreating Israelis, which matches accounts I've heard).
The greenhouses themselves were largely intact. The main thrust of the article was that the greenhouses under Gaza control produced hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of exportable produce, most of which was left to rot because Isreali border authorities wouldn't permit its passing the border. That certainly coincides with accounts I've heard.
One can argue who was behind this or that looting/vandalism, but the output of the greenhouses was certainly not propaganda, a figment of someone's imagination, or BS.
As usual the truth is neither 100% one-side or the other, but in-between. And this case the damage to Gaza's budding economy was probably avoidable.
