In all fairness, a park police report of the incident revealed that protestors were cleared in order to fence off the area. DC Park Police had no idea that Trump planned to visit the area when they initiated the action.

Otherwise, excellent article. Especially the degree to which Christians, evangelicals, etc., embraced Trump. It's hard to imagine anything more cynical.
