It's been nearly 30 years & that episode remains vivid in my mind. It was a stunning, harrowing moment of tv, really demonstrating what the actors & medium are capable of. ER doesn't get credit for how groundbreaking & just well done it could be.

And, by the way, don't let's forget the utterly brutality of Mark's beatdown in the bathroom. I can still feel that one after three decades!
