I've been arguing that Netanyahu's Likud-coalition put Hamas in the drivers here with its massive overreaction, thus tanking the proposed accords with Saudi Arabia & tainting those already achieved. But here you're reversing things. If events in Gaza are Israel's "long-planned" Neo-Nakba why did Hamas play so eloquently into their hands?

And, sure, I'm aware of Netanyahu's role in Hamas's creation, but I think one can satisfactorily argue he has long-since lost control of the beast.
