When I saw the title of this I thought, suppose I posted an article entitled: Reading on American Renaissance Made Me Realize How Racist White People Are.
Would that be any less tendentious?
And would you be inclined to take responsibility for the comments offered by its many "race realists"? I certainly hope not.
Reddit's notorious for its Incel/redpill/mra communities. It's not really surprising that some of that attitude might spill over. I don't use it much because I've never mastered the whole upvote/downvote thing & its impact on posts. But I do look in on AITA (greatest time-waster since the first kitten video on Youtube). Seems like one quarter to one third of the questions are answered with, Get Out! People-women asking if they're the asshole, being informed they're really in abusive relationships or being gaslighted & need to terminate them post haste. That seems pretty supportive.
Reddit is the last place I'd go to find out how most men feel about women.
