My goodness! Although I don't consider myself a close follower of Charles I do remember talking to plants & the "monstrous carbuncle" comment! Charles does have an interesting range of interests—& yes, climate change before it was a thing! Is he the first monarch, at least in modern times, to have escaped the hidebound education, or lack of education, that hobbled his predecessors. Interesting article. Thanks.
