Next time my white c-gender compatriots whine about how the white male is becoming endangered, I'll ponder this & other examples of women tearing each other to shreds over issues of race, gender & class rather than getting on with the business of creating & publishing good, solid work.

It might happen, I don't know for certain, but I don't see men devolving into such a battle over a fairly simple gaff like this. One aknowledges the error & moves on. Simple.
