No sir. With respect, Cosby was not exonerated. His conviction was set aside because the prosecutor who handed the case for that particular accuser had promised he would not be prosecuted for anything he revealed during a deposition in the civil lawsuit. Another prosecutor took over the case & prosecuted Coz using those statements. The high courts found that the promise of the original prosecutor was binding. And so his conviction was overturned. As it should have been.

Coz is free, as he should be under those circumstances. But it wasn't due to his wealth per se (though wealthy people can afford to hire more & better legal talent), but, as you wrote, because the system worked.

By & large I agree that whites are not held to the same standard by our legal system, but I'm not certain how this case illustrates that. Recall Casey Anthony, the pretty white girl accused of killing her daughter, Kaylee? Anthony was also acquitted by a jury. And no one, to the best of my knowledge, actually believes she's innocent.
