Of course people of good will can agree to disagree, but you (& other anti-racist authors) always reference the [very real] limitations of the Emancipation Proclamation as Lincoln's principle legacy vis-a-vis slavery & civil rights, but never a word about how hard he worked to pass the 13th Amendment through Congress. Granted it was finally ratified after his death, but without his efforts & support it might not have passed in the first place.
