Sorry, at the risk of appearing to "gaslight" here, I was in NYC for the first two weeks of BLM protests, & based on what I saw they would be accurately described as "George Floyd/Ahmaud Arbery/Breanna Taylor" protests. Her name rang out. I don't know what to say to anyone who hadn't heard of her prior—the information, along with the outrage, was there. Particularly as Taylor was an EMS, a front-line healthcare worker taking the Corona epidemic by the horns.

In some ways I'm reminded of Latasha Harlins in April of 1992. The Rodney King Riots, yes, but Latasha's name was right out there, especially in front of Parker Center.

LA born & raised, now I live upstate. I hate snow. I write on healthcare, politics & history. Hobbies are woodworking & singing Xmas carols with nonsense lyrics
