The further I read this piece the more I was certain I couldn't bear to read most of the comments because so many would be Amen, sister! without the least evidence of critical thinking, analyses, or follow up: e.g. when I google Kate vs. Meghan wedding I come up with Meghan criticizing Kate's wedding (back in her Suits days) as setting a poor example for young women; & does anyone really imagine Kate & William sitting up in the wee hours editing Kensingston Palace social media comments?

Look, I'm just another irrelevant Yank who thought Queen Bess was cool, but the royal thing is basically done. Charles won't carry it forward, more countries like Australia will probably go republic & the Brits themselves might give it another generation at most.

For all I know Kate might be a worse human being than five Hitlers, three Stalins & a Kim Jong Un, but this article doesn't prove it. It's just tendentious & mean-spirited.
