The main issue I see with feigned concern over black-on-black crime is the lack of symmetry.

Black-on-black (or white-on-white, etc) crime is ... crime. Society condemns it & the authorities seek to punish the perpetrators. Police violence, on the other hand, generally isn't. The cops involved are often cited as heroes, awarded & promoted. While the victim(s) is denigrated & villified.

How is that justice?

As we learned with the recent hiring of Myles Cosgrove by the Carroll County Sheriff plenty of people still believe his victim, Breonna Taylor, was some sort of criminal who had what was coming to her, evidence to the contrary notwithstanding.
