The straw man is insisting Israel isn't legitimate because of incorrect recounting of the history, which many Palestinian & anti-Zionists engage. And I also wanted to point out the contradiction between declaring one UN resolution illegitimate, then citing the World Court order as binding.

Furthermore, I believe Israel's actions in Gaza are indefensible, but Hamas had to know what the response would be, from this particular government, & went ahead with the operation anyway.
