Though I mostly enjoyed Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy & thought Martin Campbell's Casino Royale reinvigorated the creaky Bond franchise (is Bond a super-hero?), I generally avoid films in that genre. I just never had a taste for it. Perhaps because I was never exposed to comic books growing up.
