To the final question: I don't know, but I think not. Because especially now, with pandemic & quarrantine the rule, I think people tend to be more thoughtful about what they do. Of course we're going to see masks & gloves & other effluvia of sanitation about. They stand out in paticular because their presence used to be uncommon.

Regarding behavior? Again. Dunno. Are drives less courteous? Transit passengers? I honestly have no reason to assume so. But you might be right.

Bottom line, I think the pandemic is making most people more responsible, but at the same time, it's putting those who aren't in the fore.
