Transfer implies moving from one specific location to another. Near as I can tell, the Jews of Medieval England were expelled, not transferred. Even if many embarked to a particular location after King Edward's edict.

Your conclusion baffles me. Are you saying the Ashkenazi ought to have remained in Europe, in those places whence they'd been dragged off to be murdered, & where their erstwhile neighbors stood ready to murder them rather than relinquish the properties they had "inherited"?
