Well stated. One fears for Israel & the Palestinians because Likud's policies are exactly the same as Hamas's: perpetual conflict.

One point: Palestinian right of return is a difficult area because it risks Jews becoming a minority in their own country. Most would find this unacceptable.

Compensation for land taken might be the better way here.
