As one who experienced constant fear & anxiety due to bullies, I can empathize with those bullied. I also transcended it, to a degree—I think the whole "Karate Kid" scenario is never entirely accurate, but some of us do apply the Nietszchean etho of that which does not kill us makes us stronger—but I & every other target would have been so, so much better without it. No question.
One question, when you ascribe bullying to toxic masculinity, how does this account for it on the girls' side? The "Mean Girls" phenomenon?
