What did you think would happen? Hamas gave Bibi exactly what he needed, unifying the country around him & his corrupt government when it was finally on the ropes, & justifiably so. Protests against Likud's cooptation of the judiciary turned into demands that Hamas & Islamic Jihad finally be liquidated. As long as IDF keeps pressing forward no one will resume demands that he face the music. Even his seeming incompetence in allowing the attack to go forward seems suspect.
