What is it, body acceptance? Size acceptance ...? Along those lines. I was a tiny baby. Just over five pounds. Spent my first months in an incubator. My mother then packed, & I mean packed the pounds on me before putting me up for adoption. The first pictures of me at 12 months depict a baby hideous & immense. "My little Buddha" my mother called me.

I didn't really have a say in becoming immense, but I've had to live with it. No one else.

I recommend Michael Fumento's The Fat of the Land. He takes on the size-acceptance movement with skill and wit.

Good piece. Never heard of "struggle porn" before...
