Yeah, Florida amendments to the amendment are particularly invidious because, as I understand things, ineligible felons won't be removed from voter rolls, & so might be subject to prosecution for voting without realizing it. It's hard to imagine a better way to suppress convicted felon vote, because the issue isn't just restitution, but court fees & fines. As I understand it, only 8% of Florida's felons have registered since passage of the law, & of those, how many will actually vote?
