Your essay is well written & provacative, but I think your thesis is undermined by the lack of specifics. I.e. a case that leads "universities" (not just the one adjacent to the incident) to install non-gendered restrooms, create affirmative action programs & establish counseling services would perforce be as notorious as say the George Floyd killing. So, where are the links? When I search on "trans assault victim statutory rape" I find only generic pages, nothing pertaining to a case such as you describe.
