Yup. This is a belief I've long held simply because it's so blatantly obvious. This "right to exist" business has always been a red herring.

Now, the right to exist as a particularly Jewish state ... whether it has the right or not, it must. History has more than adequately demonstrated why. As a binational, unitary state with an inevitable Palestinian majority would Israel remain a refuge should Jews somewhere else in the world be threatened as we were in Europe? Most likely not.
